　　 From the test items, phthalates, total amount of heavy metals (arsenic, lead, cadmium), fiber content, rope requirements are the main unqualified indicators. The unqualified batches are 119 batches, 54 batches, 41 batches and 33 batches respectively. Among them, phthalates, total amount of heavy metals (arsenic, lead, cadmium) and rope are required to be safety items.

　　 The main reasons for substandard children's school supplies are: first, the toxic and harmful substances exceed the standard. In order to pursue the style and comfort of children's shoes, manufacturers often use foamed plastic or soft rubber as the main material, and make products with various pigments. There is a risk that harmful substances in the raw materials exceed the standard. Second, there are potential safety hazards in product design. Children's and infants' clothing ropes are too long, which may be trapped by the protrusions or gaps on elevators, vehicles or amusement facilities, causing safety accidents. Third, the quality control of enterprises is not strict. The fiber content of raw materials is not verified when purchasing raw materials, or there is no effective quality control means for different batches of raw materials.

　　 From the spot check results of down products, in 2024, the spot check of down products includes down clothing, down quilts and other two kinds of products, involving 442 batches of products produced and operated by 440 enterprises, 95 batches of products are found unqualified, and the unqualified rate of spot check is 21.5%.

　　 From the test items, the cashmere content, fiber content and down duck feather content are the main unqualified items, and the unqualified batches are 55, 45 and 23 batches respectively.

　　 The main reasons for the disqualification of down products are as follows: First, passing fake products off as genuine ones, and passing defective products off as good ones. Some production enterprises use "silk" instead of "down", or mix too much feathers or other sundries in down, resulting in substandard down content of down products. Second, there are false labels. Some enterprises did not strictly test the down content of their products, but marked them by experience, which led to the serious discrepancy between the key indicators such as down content and down type marked on the label and the quality of the actual filler.

　　 It was reported that in 2024, the State Administration of Market Supervision will organize national supervision and spot check on 147 products. In the whole year, a total of 25250 batches of products produced and operated by 23764 enterprises were randomly inspected, and 3601 batches of products from 3437 enterprises were found to be unqualified. The unqualified rate of supervision and random inspection was 14.3%.

　　 The unqualified rate of products of large, medium and small enterprises is 2.5%, 4.5% and 15.2% respectively. The unqualified rate of product spot check of large and medium-sized enterprises has remained at a low level. The unqualified rate of product spot check of small enterprises is significantly higher than that of large and medium-sized enterprises, and the product quality still needs to be improved.
