  In the first half of 2021, China exported 34.174 billion US dollars of knitted garments, up 54.06% year-on-year, 29.234 billion US dollars for woven garments, 16.78% year-on-year growth, and 20.05 billion US dollars for home textiles, a year-on-year decrease of 51.17%. The export volume of clothing increased significantly, and the growth of knitted apparel was significantly higher than that of woven clothing.

 
The sharp decline in home textile exports was mainly due to a year-on-year decrease of 76.84% in the export value of masks and a year-on-year increase of 58.93% in the export of home textiles except for masks.
