In fiscal year 2011-12, Nepali exported 1 billion 900 million rupees' shawls, and exports in the 2010-11 fiscal year were 1 billion 630 million rupees.


In the first two months of the current fiscal year, the export volume of garments and garments for Nepal to India and third countries decreased by 73.8% and 41.1% respectively.

Nepal exported garments of 35 million 200 thousand rupees to India and exported 632 million 200 thousand rupees to third countries.

The export of Nepal's hand carpet has declined to Europe in the main market, which is due to the European financial crisis.

In recent years, Nepal's hand carpet has increased to China's exports, which has partially relieved Nepalese exporters.


In fiscal year 2011-12, Nepal exported wool rugs valued at 6 billion rupees, up from 4 billion 920 million rupees in fiscal 2010-11.
