Economic reform has great potential for India textile machinery Market: {page_break}

India's economy has been growing at an alarming rate in recent years. In the Tenth Five Year Plan (2002-2007 years), the GDP growth rate is expected to be 8%.

The textile and garment industry occupies an absolutely important position in India's economy, accounting for about 3% of GDP growth and about 24% of the total value of foreign trade.

The reform of the economic system has made India's textile industry a huge potential market. The India textile department introduced the 1999-2007 year technical pformation fund plan and invested in the technological pformation of the textile industry department.

Imports of textile machinery in India increased from US $462 million in 2003 to US $650 million in 2004, an increase of 40%.

The EU and the United States revoked import quota quota in January 2005, and the import tariff of India's textile machinery was reduced by 10%. The India government gave preferential investment policies to the textile machinery industry, making India textile machinery market more and more prosperous.

India textile enterprises generally plan to invest in new technology and update modern textile machinery to increase production capacity.

For the international textile machinery suppliers, the growth of textile demand in India will bring about a huge market.

According to experts, China's textile machinery products, such as spinning, dyeing and finishing, knitting, weaving, garment making and embroidery processing machinery, have great market potential in India. At present, China's textile machinery products have begun to enter the knitting, weaving and garment market of India.

Against this background, the new international textile machinery parts exhibition will become the biggest highlight of India textile industry.
